What i think of this module

Assessment
The model that that I delved into filled me with much insight into the world of modernism and the history of arts development.through this module I was able to learn various artists work, there styles and the way situations at the time effected the artists works. I was able to see how modernism effected britain its people and how items changed with more variety available to the public. I found that this module was most insightfull into how modernisim effected how people saw children, slavery and women during this time. Women became more respectfull, slavery was abolished but it helped mass consumption and the idea of childhood was invented through modernism. Different products were designed for different purposes, products for cleaning and different age clothing. I liked how salividor dali and others dramaticly changed our views on art and the way we look it.
I learnt over the course of this module about how advertisement has made have a dramatic change in in the way things were sold and how the concept of shopping was invented.
